The Fiji International has been running since 1997. It has grown from a pre-Pacific Games preparation competition to an event that is now seen as a must-attend regatta in local paddler’s diaries. It is Fiji Outrigger’s largest annual event and since 2007 it has been open to overseas competitors with Fiji Outrigger actively encouraging and facilitating attendance of teams from all over the world.

FIJI INTERNATIONAL 2011
The Fiji International 2011 edition took place between the 22nd and 24th of April. It was attended by more than 250 paddlers from 20 different clubs from Fiji, American Samoa, Hong Kong, Hawaii, the United States, New Zealand and Australia. Over the 3 days over 50 marathon and sprint races too place on Wailoaloa beach in Nadi and at Vuda Marina.
