Bring It On BHR 2010 Coming Soon

The 2010 Fiji Outrigger Business House Regattas are back once again with teams from all realms of the business sector set to take to the water to stake their claim on the title of king of the water.
‘The Bring it on Business House Regattas offer a great opportunity for businesses to get their staff out of the office and into a competitive team environment,’ said Fiji Outrigger Sports Development Officer Michael Crowe.
Fiji Outrigger has been running these annual events since 2004 as a way to promote the positive benefits to both individuals and business of having fit, healthy and united staff. ‘For businesses these regattas really provide a unique opportunity to develop a strong bond amongst their staff that then translates to the sort of dynamic working environment that all businesses are looking for in today’s competitive economy,’ Crowe said. Last year’s champions, the ATS Outrigger team will be the team to beat after their stellar performances in the 2009 event saw them take home the crown.
With over 24 teams in 2009 and a high number of early registrations for this year’s series, Fiji Outrigger is confident that the 2010 Business house regatta will be one of the biggest so for.
Given the popularity of the event in previous years Fiji Outrigger has moved to hold two consecutive series in both Nadi and Suva.
‘In the past we’ve found that teams have found it hard to travel between events so we’ve decided to hold separate series in both Nadi and Suva to allow for all entrants to maximise their time on the water, together as a team. We’ve had a great response so far and can’t wait to see everyone battling it out on the water.
The Bring it on Business House Regattas will be held in Suva at the U.S.P. Foreshore July 24th and August 7th and in Nadi August 14th and September 11th. Information and registration details can be found at www.fijioutrigger.com
